Do I need to pay a deposit when I make a booking?

No a deposit is not required at time of booking.

Do I need to pay for my booking before I arrive?

The full balance of your booking will be taken on arrival. 

How do I cancel my booking?

The booking confirmation email that you will receive on completing your booking will contain full details on how to cancel your booking online.  The cancellation is free of charge 48 hours prior to the date of arrival, after this time we will charge you for the first night of your booking.   

Are utilities included in the price?

Yes. Utilities are included in the rates advertised.

What does utilities include?

These include energy costs, waste costs, secure car parking, Wifi.

Is a security deposit required on arrival?

For groups over 10 people a security deposit of €25 per person is required on check-in and will be returned within 48 hours after departure, subject to no damages caused to the property

When and where can I check in?

Check in is from 3pm on the day of arrival and guests should check in at the main reception of the building they have booked.

Travel Cots are available on request. Please note your request in the Special Requests section at the time of your booking.

How often will the apartment be serviced during my stay?

Your apartment will be cleaned once on a weekly stay with fresh linen and fresh towels. Each guest will receive 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel

Are there laundry facilities?

Yes. Each Complex has its own Laundry with washing machines and dryers. Tokens can be purchased at reception. Cost is €2.50 for a wash and €2.50 for a dry. Detergent is not supplied , however, it can be purchased in a local convenience store.

Is the complex secure?

Yes. The complex is secure. Only guests with key card access will have access to car park, lifts and apartment.

What kind of heating is in the apartments?

Electrical heating.

Is there Wi-Fi available?

Yes. There is FREE Wi-Fi throughout the complex for guests. Guests will be given the password on check in.

Can I smoke in the apartment?

All apartments are non-smoking.

Are there hairdryers?

Limited number available at reception upon request. No charge applies.

Are there towels and linen provided?

Bed linen is provided and each guest will receive 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel. These are replaced weekly.

Are there televisions?

There is a television in the living room of each apartment.

Is there parking available?

Yes, on-site parking is available free of charge for resident guests.

Distance from Cork Airport?

Cork Airport is located approximately 9 km from UCC Campus Accommodation. A taxi journey from Cork Airport costs approximately €20 - €25 and takes about 20 minutes, depending on the time of travel.

Is the accommodation on a bus route into Cork City?

There are a number of bus routes 208, 220 (located outside each of our locations) that connect guests to the city centre.

How far is Cork City Centre?

Cork City Centre is approximately a 20-minute walk from Victoria Lodge, Victoria Mills and University Hall. It is a 15 minute walk from Castlewhite. There are a number of bus routes 208, 220 (located outside each of our locations) that connect guests to the city centre. A taxi into the city centre will cost approx. €8.
